Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed witnesses the activities of the second edition of the forum "And the star"
Al Ain Region, January 16, 2017 – His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan witnessed the activities of the second edition of the “And the Star” Forum, which was organized by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat at Al Jahili Fort in the Al Ain region.
The forum activities were attended by His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Supreme President of the UAE University, His Excellency Sarah bint Youssef Al Amiri, Minister of Education, His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, President of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and a number of officials, notables and people of the Al Ain region.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, to those in charge of this event and its participants, wishing them success in the second edition of the event.
His Excellency stressed the forum’s prominent role in highlighting the values inspired by the occasion of the Night Journey and Mi’raj, and opening up renewed scientific horizons in which the meanings of faith, human knowledge, and cosmic sciences are in harmony.
His Excellency praised the efforts made to highlight the UAE’s achievements in the field of space exploration, and to develop an integrated national system capable of keeping pace with future aspirations, and contributing to preparing and supporting a conscious generation capable of preserving authentic values, promoting sustainable social development, and consolidating national identity.
