المملكة: Education creates a specialized administration with artificial intelligence


The Ministry created EducationA specialized department for artificial intelligence within its organizational structure, in the updated version of the organizational guide “Goals and Tasks Guide” issued in Jumada al-Awwal 1447 AH, in a step that reflects the ministry’s direction towards strengthening Digital transformation, and the adoption of modern technologies in developing the education system and raising the efficiency of institutional performance.

The introduction of the Artificial Intelligence Department came within a comprehensive development framework, aiming to support the use of smart solutions in analyzing educational data, improving planning and decision-making processes, and enhancing technical innovation, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and national trends in the fields of data and artificial intelligence.

Improving Digital Services

The updated regulatory guide also included strengthening the role of the Data Management Office, and linking it in a more appropriate way. He explained the digital transformation system, in a way that contributes to the governance of educational data, raising the quality of its use, achieving integration between digital systems and platforms, and supporting institutional performance measurement and strategic planning.

The guide highlighted the integration of digital transformation units, by clarifying the organizational relationship between digital transformation, e-learning and distance learning channels, cybersecurity, and data management, within a clearer regulatory framework that aims to improve the quality of digital services and raise the efficiency of operational processes.

While the guide included these qualitative additions and updates, Hafez The stability of the Ministry’s general structure, and the continued distribution of basic powers and tasks to the various sectors and agencies, in a way that ensures organizational stability, with thoughtful phased development.

The issuance of the updated organizational guide confirms the Ministry of Education’s keenness to enhance institutional readiness, support digital transformation and innovation, and create a flexible regulatory environment capable of keeping pace with technical changes and future requirements in the education sector.
