Lebanon: At least 4 killed in an Israeli strike on Baalbek

Today, the National News Agency reported that at least four people were killed and six others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a four-story residential building in the city of Baalbek, eastern Lebanon.

The agency stated that “the initial toll is four martyrs and six wounded, and work is underway to rescue families from under the rubble.”

The raid came as part of a sharp escalation in fighting on the Lebanese-Israeli border since Monday, after Hezbollah launched drones and missiles at Israel.

Since then, the Iran-allied group has fired more missiles, and Israel has launched a series of air strikes on Lebanon and sent troops south.
