23 years imprisonment for South Korean Prime Minister for trying to impose martial law


A Seoul court on Wednesday sentenced Former Prime Minister Han Dak Su, 23 years old for his role in the failed attempt to Imposing martial law in South Korea in December 2024.

This sentence far exceeds the 15-year prison sentence that prosecutors requested to impose on Han Dak-soo. In his ruling, Judge Lee Jin Guan considered that "The accused failed to the end in performing his duty and responsibility as Prime Minister".
