Announcing the match schedule for the 35th edition of the Dubai International Basketball Championship

Dubai, January 21 / WAM / The organizing committee of the Dubai International Basketball Championship announced the schedule of matches for the 35th edition of the tournament, which will be held from January 23 to next February 1, with the participation of 10 teams, at the Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall in Al Nasr Sports Club.
The UAE national team will open its campaign in the tournament by facing the Syrian team Al-Fidaa Homs at six o’clock in the evening on the opening day, in the first group competitions, preceded in the same group by a match between the Al-Nasr team and the Libyan club Al-Ittihad, with the first day’s matches concluding with the Libyan Al-Ahly Tripoli meeting with the Tunisian African team in the second group competitions.
The first group includes the UAE national team, Al-Nasr, Al-Fidaa Homs, Al-Wahda of Syria, and Al-Ittihad of Libya, while the second group includes the Lebanese teams of Beirut, Al-Karama of Syria, Africain of Tunisia, Al-Ahly Tripoli of Libya, and “Zamboanga” of the Philippines.
The first round matches will continue until January 28, followed by the quarter-finals on Thursday and Friday, to which the top four finishers in each group qualify. The semi-final matches will be held on Saturday, while the event concludes with the final match and the third-place match on Sunday.
