The Somali army eliminates more than 130 militants in Lower Juba region

Somali army units eliminated (130) militants during A military operation lasted more than 24 hours in the city of Kuda in the Lower Juba region in the south of the country.
An official Somali statement stated that the forces carried out Intensive operations led to the injury of a number of other militants, in addition to the control of combat equipment and weapons left by the terrorists as they fled the area.

Continuous state of alert

The statement confirmed, according to the Somali News Agency on Thursday, that the city of Kuda and its surroundings are under Full control of the army, and that the forces remain on high alert to ensure the security of civilians and prevent any future threats.
The Somali Ministry of Defense confirmed the continuation of military operations until stability and permanent security are achieved throughout the country.
