المملكة: "Corps of Engineers" 6 new divisions will be created…and nominations will open tomorrow, Tuesday
Declared The Saudi Council of Engineers announced the creation of six new engineering divisions, in a step aimed at developing Mining Engineering, Marine Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Safety Engineering, Facilities Management, and Medical Engineering, confirming that the opening of nominations for these divisions will begin on January 27, 2026 AD at ten in the morning, and will continue until February 9, 2026 AD at ten in the morning.
Ensuring professional competence
The Authority stated that the conditions for candidacy include that the applicant be a primary member of the Authority in the specialty of the same division, and that his membership be valid, in addition to obtaining a professional degree. “Professional” and higher, with a pledge to adhere to the approved regulations and rules.
She indicated that candidacy for the Safety Engineering and Facilities Management divisions requires proven experience of no less than five years in the field, or obtaining an accredited professional certificate, in order to ensure professional competence and raise the quality of engineering practices in these specializations.
