"Sharjah Charity" It aims to distribute 1.2 million iftar meals during Ramadan

Sharjah, January 26 / WAM / The Sharjah Charitable Society has intensified its preparations as the holy month of Ramadan approaches, to implement a project to break the fast for fasting people as part of its Ramadan campaign “Joud”, which is the largest umbrella for its programs during the holy season.

The project aims to provide 900,000 iftar meals within the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to 300,000 meals outside the country, in a step that reflects the expansion of the scope of giving and consolidates the association’s role in meeting the basic humanitarian needs of the most needy groups during the month of fasting.

Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the Sharjah Charitable Society, explained that the Society was keen to distribute breakfast points in studied locations within the Emirate of Sharjah to ensure that the meals reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries, in addition to distribution in 51 countries around the world in coordination with the competent authorities to ensure that support reaches areas suffering from weak food security and difficult living conditions.
