Workshops "Sharjah Entrepreneurship" It gives participants applied knowledge
Sharjah, January 31, 2026 – During the activities of the first day, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 organized a series of specialized workshops within the “Festival Academy” area, through which it provided an integrated practical framework to enable entrepreneurs and participants to acquire applied knowledge and practical tools that contribute to developing their projects and enhancing their financial, technical and creative readiness.
The workshops focused on basic topics that included money and investment management, geographical location data analysis, business automation using artificial intelligence techniques, data analysis, and building sustainable sources of income for content makers to support the transition of entrepreneurial ideas from the conception stage to business models capable of growth and expansion.
Shahad Abdel Hadi, co-founder of the Women Who Invest initiative, presented a workshop entitled “Mastering Money 101 What to Do and Avoid in Saving and Investing,” during which she highlighted the basics of saving, budgeting, and investing, with a focus on personal financial affairs and the reality of business management.
In a workshop titled “Geographic Data Makes a Difference: Turning Geographic Data into Profits,” Isaias Thomas Bigo, Head of User Experience and Interface Design, in the second year of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University in Dubai, taught workshop participants how to utilize geographic location data and turn it into a competitive and strategic advantage for startup companies.
In the “Business Automation with Artificial Intelligence” workshop, Philip Reid, marketing technology expert and founder of the Find Your Freedom Club, reviewed the concept of artificial intelligence agents and how companies use them to conduct conversations with potential and current customers, in addition to the most prominent types of artificial intelligence agents.
