At the age of 72.. Zaafarana Al Hosani participates in the Abu Dhabi 2026 Masters Games

Citizen Zaafarana Ahmed Al Hosani, 72 years old, the mother of the heroines Hamda and Maryam Al Hosani, is participating in the bowling competitions within the Masters Games, Abu Dhabi 2026, which is currently being held until February 15, with the aim of encouraging women to participate in various events.
Al Hosani said in a statement on the occasion of the opening of the global event in Abu Dhabi that she was keen to participate in bowling training in Zayed Sports City so that she would be at a level that would allow her to show better performance, to motivate other women of all ages to participate.
She explained that the 2026 Masters Games is a major global occasion with its value and goals in encouraging members of society to practice sports, because of its significant impact on the sustainability of health.
She noted that she continues to encourage her daughters, Hamda and Maryam, to participate in bowling and athletics competitions, especially since the presence of Emirati women would highlight their contribution to society and their interaction with national events, to consolidate their prestigious position in all fields.
