The report indicated that Saudi Arabia has a strong technological momentum, which reflects a highly coordinated approach to establishing artificial intelligence as an essential tool for modernizing the public sector. National leadership, strong central investment, and comprehensive implementation across the government have led to widespread deployment of artificial intelligence tools among public sector employees.

The report explained that the use of Artificial Intelligence among public sector employees in Saudi Arabia has become routine and is widely encouraged, with about two-thirds of employees reporting using AI tools at work daily, the highest percentage in the index, and about 50% of employees saying they have been using AI for more than a year.

Empowering Government Employees

Three-quarters of government employees surveyed reported that their organizations have invested in AI, facilitating access to AI tools at the organization level or internal systems, as well as Clear workplace policies encourage the use of AI.
