Dubai, February 10, 2017 – Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), listed on the Dubai Financial Market, announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2025. It recorded record revenues amounting to 3.419 billion dirhams for the fiscal year 2025, a growth of 4.9% compared to revenues in 2024.

Empower recorded net profits of 1.004 billion dirhams during the same year, a growth rate of 10.5% compared to 2024, while profits attributable to the company’s shareholders amounted to 993.3 million dirhams, and the corporation’s total profits before tax amounted to 1.103 billion dirhams, an increase of 10.5% as well.

The year 2025 witnessed exceptional performance in Empower’s operations. The total delivered capacity reached about 1.7 million refrigeration tons, and the contracted capacity increased by 11% compared to 2024, reaching about 2 million refrigeration tons, after signing 186 new contracts during 2025.

His Excellency Ahmed bin Shafar, CEO of the Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), said that the continued growth in revenues and profits, along with the expansion of the portfolio of projects and infrastructure, contributed to consolidating Empower’s position as an essential partner in supporting sustainable urban development in Dubai, and a reliable provider of energy-efficient district cooling solutions.

Empower’s revenue and EBITDA grew by 4.9% and 6.2%, respectively, during 2025 compared to the previous year.

The total number of buildings that Empower provides with its services increased to 1,747 buildings in 2025, an increase of 7% compared to 2024, and the percentage of increase in the number of new registered customers reached 26% compared to 2024, and the total number of the organization’s customers reached 156,000 customers at the end of 2025.

The number of bill payment transactions made through the electronic payment channels provided by Empower in cooperation with its strategic partners, including banks and financial institutions, reached 979,51 transactions, an increase of 10% compared to the same period last year.

Empower approved 46,876 applications for the NOC service during the year 2025, an increase of 10% compared to the same period in 2024, in order to facilitate consultants and contractors obtaining the Corporation’s approvals to submit applications, reduce or avoid violations, damages and fines, and save time and effort.
