The Head of State receives the Crown Prince of Bahrain

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, who is on a fraternal visit to the country.
During the meeting, which took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, His Highness and the Crown Prince of Bahrain exchanged friendly fraternal conversations and congratulations on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan, asking God Almighty to make it a month of goodness and blessings for the two countries and their peoples.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Bahrain also conveyed to His Highness the President the greetings of his brother, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his wishes for the UAE and its people continued progress and prosperity, while His Highness conveyed to him his greetings to His Majesty and his wishes for Bahrain and its brotherly people further progress and development.
The meeting discussed the deep-rooted historical ties that unite the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain and the joint work to continue strengthening them in a way that serves mutual interests and benefits the peoples of both countries.
In this context, the two sides stressed the continuous development witnessed by Emirati-Bahraini relations at various levels and the mutual keenness to advance them, especially in the areas that serve the development priorities of the two countries and enhance their aspirations for a more developed and prosperous future. The two sides also discussed a number of issues and topics of common interest and exchanged views on them.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Zayed Al Khair Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior state officials.
It was also attended by the delegation accompanying His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Bahrain, which includes: Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior officials in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Bahrain, arrived in the country earlier today, where he and the accompanying delegation were received at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi by His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and a number of ministers and senior officials.
