Dubai Ambulance displays its smart ambulance system at the World Health Exhibition 2026

The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services participated in the World Health Exhibition 2026 in Dubai, by showcasing the latest technical mechanisms and solutions in the field of ambulance services, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance readiness to respond to emergency cases and improve the quality of pre-hospital medical care.
Commenting on the participation, the Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Mishal Abdul Karim Julfar, said: The Corporation’s participation in the World Health Exhibition comes within the framework of highlighting the qualitative transformation witnessed by the ambulance system in Dubai, noting that the Corporation is displaying, during its participation, an integrated model of a smart ambulance system that relies on digital data to support the speed of response and improve the quality of the ambulance services provided.
Julphar explained that the Foundation’s participation includes two main stations: The first is a specialized platform that showcases the smart ambulance response journey, starting with proactive planning of ambulance resources based on analysis of historical and current data, through smart reporting systems via digital applications and the Emirates ID, all the way to field response supported by digital alert systems and medical integration with hospitals.
He pointed out that the organization relies, in planning ambulance resources, on integrating data related to the locations of reports, peak times, population density, and major events, and analyzing them using geographic information systems and artificial intelligence, which contributes to determining the best locations for ambulance stationing, improving the scope of coverage, and reducing response time in various regions of the emirate.
Julfar added that the second station is to showcase the field support unit, which is a specialized ambulance vehicle equipped with the latest equipment, medical devices and operational systems to support field teams in emergency situations and major accidents, especially in rugged areas or during natural disasters, which reflects the high level of readiness and development that the ambulance system has reached in Dubai, and its ability to deal with various scenarios efficiently, ensuring the provision of advanced and rapid medical care at the site of the event.
He confirmed that the Corporation received more than 279,000 ambulance reports within one year through the smart notification reception system, which reflects the growing reliance on digital channels and the efficiency of ambulance dispatch and management systems. He pointed out that the Corporation succeeded in achieving a response time of about 7 minutes during the year 2025 and seeks to reach 4 minutes by 2033.
He explained that the Foundation continues to invest in modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, remote medical communication systems, and digital integration with health authorities, with the aim of improving the quality of medical care and enhancing the speed of clinical decision-making in emergency cases, which has contributed to achieving advanced results in patient care.
The Executive Director stressed that the participation of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services in the World Health Exhibition represents an important platform for exchanging experiences and reviewing pioneering experiences, which contributes to developing the ambulance work system and consolidating Dubai’s position as a global model in the quality of health services and emergency response.
