Sharjah Police displays its historical heritage to visitors"Sharjah Heritage Days"
Sharjah, February 14, 2017 – Sharjah Police General Command has strengthened its security presence at the activities of the 23rd edition of Sharjah Heritage Days, which is organized by the Sharjah Heritage Institute in the heart of Sharjah and continues until February 15, under the slogan “The Glow of Authenticity.”
The participation of the General Command embodied the police legacy over the decades and introduced visitors to the history of police work, its development over the decades, and its important role in maintaining security and stability in a manner that combines authenticity and modernity and enhances community communication and awareness-raising culture among community members.
The participating Sharjah Police Pavilion reviewed the stages of development of the General Command since its establishment in 1967 and its first appearance under the name of the Police Force and Public Security, in addition to displaying heritage security collectibles that reflect its ancient history and organizing a series of events for visitors to the exhibition, such as field tours in a classic vehicle that tours the corners of the event.
