The agency said in a statement: "The suspect, a young man in his early twenties, was seen at the north gate of the Mar-a-Lago resort carrying what appeared to be a hunting rifle and a can of fuel."

The security personnel confronted the suspect and opened fire on him, but none of them were injured, and Trump was the target of two assassination attempts.

Trump Assassination Attempt

Earlier this month, 59-year-old Ryan Roth was sentenced to life imprisonment for planning to assassinate the president on a golf course in Florida in September 2024, that is, two months before the US presidential elections.

This came two months later. From the attempted assassination of Trump in Pennsylvania, when Matthew Crooks (20 years old) fired several bullets during an election rally for the Republican candidate that day, one of which slightly hit Trump’s right ear.

This attack, which resulted in the death of one of the participants in the rally, constituted a turning point in Trump’s return to the White House, and Crooks was immediately killed by security forces’ bullets, and his motive is still unknown.
