"Fine arts" The features of national unity are drawn at the founding forum
Organize King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, in partnership with the Fine Arts Society «Jsft”, “Culture, Memory of the Homeland and the Spirit of Founding” Forum for the year 2026 AD, to consolidate National identity and highlighting the arts as a tool for preserving the Saudi heritage and transmitting it to future generations.
The forum witnessed the presence of the Secretary-General of the Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawzan, and included a dialogue session moderated by the supervisor of the National Center for Public Opinion Polls, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Sulaiman.
The session was hosted by the President of the Saudi Society for Fine Arts (GSFT), Dr. Hanaa Al-Shibli, and the Head of the Ta’arafou Center for Family Guidance, Dr. Saud. Al-Musaybih.
Foundation Day Values
Dr. Al-Shibli stressed the forum’s endeavor to enhance awareness of the values of Foundation Day as a cultural extension, and to highlight the arts as a basic foundation for preserving national identity.
She added that the events motivate participants to creatively express their affiliation, stressing the importance of the role of cultural associations in deepening this national loyalty.
For his part, Dr. Al-Musaybih explained that culture and language represent the most important tools for building The Saudi character and the consolidation of belonging to the homeland since the establishment of the first state.
Saudi identity
Al-Musaybih considered that the arts and heritage were never just a means of entertainment, but rather a true expression of steadfastness, unity, and pride in one’s roots.
The two speakers agreed that the current global openness requires adherence to cultural specificity, considering that the Saudi identity today is living its golden age by merging authenticity with ambition.
He stressed The guests stressed the great responsibility of the family in confronting “digital globalization”, by instilling authentic Saudi values such as generosity and respect for the elderly in the souls of children.
The work of the forum culminated in organizing a specialized art exhibition and live drawing, which presented plastic paintings inspired by the Kingdom’s values and reflecting the depth of its cultural identity.
