The series “Stolen Moments” discusses life issues from a dramatic perspective, led by Egyptian director Ahmed Al-Bandari, based on the story of Kuwaiti writer Anfal Al-Dosari, who tells, in 30 television episodes, the story of a family with a harsh and painful past that tries to overcome it with seriousness and diligence. The heroes of the series are: Ahmed Al-Jasmi, Samira Ahmed, Abdullah bin Haider, Amal Muhammad, Malak Al-Khalidi, Muhammad Al-Dosari, Abdullah Saleh, and Reem. The series “Stolen Moments” belongs to the category of social drama, which deals with important issues affecting the family structure, through the character of “Fatima”, embodied by the distinguished artist Samira Ahmed, a woman known in society as having made cultural and literary contributions, and holding prestigious positions in government institutions. She was also known for her strictness at work and her extreme discipline.
However, successive events reveal the other side of “Fatima”, as her strict leadership personality is reflected in her home, as she imposes absolute control over her husband and children, unintentionally, which leads to their psychological and social destruction, which ultimately leads her to harsh isolation inside a large house, after everyone abandons her, especially her husband “Saif”, whose role is played by the distinguished artist Ahmed Al Jasmi, who is a “surgeon” who tries as much as possible to contain the family crises caused by his wife, and seeks to protect his children. He embraced them, believing that the ideal family is built on love and acceptance of points of view, not on imposing opinions.
