Announced Riyadh Municipality Voting begins on the names proposed for naming 7 parks in the city of Riyadh, within an initiative "Its people call it"With the aim of enhancing residents’ participation in choosing the names of their neighborhood parks, and consolidating the community dimension in public facility development projects.
The announced parks included various neighborhoods in the capital, as the secretariat made it possible to view the proposed names and vote on them through this Link.
Enhancing connection to place
Through the initiative, the Municipality seeks to involve neighborhood residents in shaping the identity of their parks, in a way that strengthens the connection to place, stimulates the spirit of community responsibility, and supports urban development trends based on community empowerment and raising the quality of life in various neighborhoods of the capital.
The initiative comes as an extension of the Municipality’s efforts to develop parks and public facilities and activate their role as centers of community activity, within an integrated system that focuses on the beneficiary’s experience, In line with its vision to be a leading municipality for a prosperous and sustainable kindergarten that raises the quality of life, by promoting sustainable urban development and providing high-quality services.
