The League of Arab States condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian aggressions and attacks on the State of Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, the Emirates, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States considered, in a statement today, that the missile attacks represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of countries that call for peace and worked to achieve stability and did not participate in the war, expressing full solidarity with the Arab countries in confronting these attacks, and its support for any measures they take in order to defend themselves and secure their people.
She stressed that “the Arab countries have taken clear positions on the Iranian crisis by rejecting military action against Tehran, and Arab countries have made enormous efforts to mediate to avoid the escalation we are witnessing today.” She also alerted to the enormous danger involved in the current situation in the region, calling on all active parties in the international community to work to reduce the escalation as soon as possible, spare the region the scourge of the expanding circle of instability and violence, and return to dialogue.
