Bahrain strongly condemns and denounces the Iranian missile attacks on its territory and the territories of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

The Kingdom of Bahrain today expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the treacherous Iranian missile attacks on its territory and the territories of the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan, in a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, security and stability and a threat to the security, safety and lives of civilians and residents on its territory and a disregard for all international laws and norms and the principles of good neighbourliness.

In a statement broadcast by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the efficiency of the air defense systems in the Kingdom and sisterly countries that responded to a number of missiles and shot them down, while some of them struck sites and installations, stressing that the valiant armed forces in these countries are on alert to deter any attacks that threaten the security and safety of the sisterly Arab countries and violate their sovereignty and independence.

The Ministry called on the international community to condemn this sinful attack and take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these treacherous hostilities that endanger the lives of the population, stressing that countries reserve their legal right to respond and take measures that preserve their sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of their citizens and residents of their territories.
