During a phone call with the Head of State, the Prime Minister of Georgia condemns the Iranian attacks on the UAE
Abu Dhabi, 1st March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today received a phone call from His Excellency Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of the Republic of Georgia, during which he expressed his country’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on UAE territory and a number of sister countries, and the flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations. He affirmed Georgia’s solidarity with the state in what it is doing to preserve its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks to His Excellency Irakli Kobakhidze for Georgia’s position in support of the UAE.
During the call, His Highness the President and the Prime Minister of Georgia also discussed the military escalation in the region and its dangerous repercussions on its security and stability… stressing the need to immediately stop this escalation and resort to wisdom, dialogue and diplomatic solutions to prevent the expansion of the conflict due to its dangerous consequences for regional peace and security.
