“Energy”: A limited fire in the Ras Tanura refinery was controlled without affecting supplies

An official source in the Ministry of Energy stated that at 7:40 a.m. on Monday morning, the oil refinery in Ras Tanura was subjected to limited damage due to falling fragments resulting from the interception of two drones in the vicinity of the refinery, which resulted in a limited fire that was dealt with immediately by emergency teams, and this did not result, praise be to God, in any injuries or deaths.

It noted that some of the operational units in the refinery were stopped as a precaution, without Supplies of petroleum and its derivatives to local markets are affected.
