The Head of State receives a phone call from the President of North Macedonia, during which they discussed developments taking place in the region

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Gordana Selja Novska Davkova, President of the Republic of North Macedonia, during which they discussed developments in the events taking place in the region.

The President of North Macedonia expressed her condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the lands of the UAE and a number of sister countries, expressing North Macedonia’s solidarity with the UAE in all the measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its lands and citizens.

For his part, His Highness the President of the State expressed his thanks to President Gordana Celja for North Macedonia’s position in support of the UAE.

The two sides stressed the need to immediately stop military actions and return to dialogue and diplomatic means to spare the region from further escalation and preserve regional and international security and stability.
