Excitement and strong competition in the volleyball and tug-of-war tournaments at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament
Dubai, March 2 / WAM / The “Al-Tadawi” and “National Guard” teams, the defending champions in the volleyball and tug-of-war championships, continued their strong performances and victories in the competitions of the thirteenth edition of the “Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament”.
In the volleyball competitions, the “Al-Tadawi” team strengthened its lead in the second group standings with 6 points, achieving its second victory in a row without losing any game, after defeating the “Tiger Zabeel” team by three clean games.
In a marathon match that spanned five rounds, the “MI Investment” team achieved an exciting victory over the “Zabeel” team by a score of three games to two, thus occupying second place in the group with 5 points.
As for the tug-of-war competitions, which are widely watched due to their excitement and strong competition, the National Guard team began its journey in the government institutions category by defeating the Ministry of Defense team by two games to zero, which is the same result with which the Air Force team defeated the Dubai Civil Defense team.
The community category witnessed great competition and many victories, as the first group matches resulted in the “AG Mustafa 1” team defeating “Trans Guard,” and “Al-Jawareh” defeating “W World Gym” by two clean sets for each.
In the second group, the “IFBB Sports Academy” team beat “Raptor Gym”, and “Al-Mahdawi and Al-Harbi” beat “The Fighters” with the same result.
The excitement continued in the third group, with “Wasl” defeating “Al-Ajban” and “Avalar” defeating “Dutco Construction Group” by two games to no response, while the fourth group witnessed “Level Up” defeating “Global” by two clean games, and “Olympia” defeating “Mangalore Warriors” by two games to one.
In the junior category, the Amiri Guard Sports Club team in Sharjah achieved victory over the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club team by two clean sets, and with the same result, the Sharjah Academy of Police Sciences defeated the “A25 Gym” team.
