المملكة: "King Salman Relief" Distributes food baskets to displaced families in southern Gaza


Distribute King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center today delivered food baskets in the area east of Salah al-Din Street in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern sector Gaza, as part of the Saudi Popular Campaign for Relief for the Palestinian People in the Gaza Strip.
This area is inhabited by a number of displaced families who have set up their tents on the ruins of their destroyed homes, in light of the continuing suffering from the lack of food supplies and basic services.
The distribution process was carried out according to precise field arrangements, carried out by field teams affiliated with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage – the implementing partner of the King Salman Relief Center in the Gaza Strip -; With the aim of ensuring the safety of the working teams and the smooth arrival of baskets to eligible families.

Expanding the base of beneficiaries in Gaza

Through this move, the King Salman Relief Center is working to expand the base of beneficiaries in the Gaza Strip, and to reach population centers in remote and difficult-to-reach areas, with the aim of delivering support to the largest possible segment of those affected, and establishing a balanced response that takes into account field priorities and the reality of need.
This aid comes as an extension of the relief efforts provided by the Kingdom. Via the King Salman Relief Centre; To alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who face harsh humanitarian conditions, which makes this aid necessary to support Palestinian families in the Strip.

Humanitarian aid convoy

Sir King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Relief yesterday sent a humanitarian aid convoy via Rafah border port to the King Salman Relief Center to establish new camps to house the displaced and provide them with humanitarian aid within the framework of the Saudi support provided through the Center to the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
