During a phone call with the Head of State, the President of the European Parliament condemns the Iranian attacks on the lands of the Emirates
Abu Dhabi, 5 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed today, during a phone call he received from Her Excellency Roberta Mitsola, President of the European Parliament, the deteriorating military and security situation in the region and its repercussions on regional and international security and peace.
The President of the European Parliament expressed her condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries in the region, stressing that they increase tension and escalation in the region and represent a serious violation of state sovereignty and a threat to regional security and stability.
It also expressed its solidarity with the UAE, praising the efficiency of its defense systems and its ability to ensure the safety of its residents and protect its vital infrastructure.
For his part, His Highness the President of the State expressed his thanks to Her Excellency Roberta Mitsola for her position in support of the UAE.
