The Head of State receives a phone call from the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, during which he affirmed Libya’s solidarity with the UAE following the Iranian attacks on its territory.

Abu Dhabi, 5 March / WAM / Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Excellency Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity in the sisterly State of Libya, during which he expressed his country’s solidarity with the UAE following the blatant Iranian attacks on its territory and a number of countries in the region, stressing that they represent a serious violation of the sovereignty of countries and an undermining of the security and stability of the region.

For his part, His Highness the President thanked His Excellency Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba for Libya’s position in support of the UAE.

The two sides called for the need to immediately stop the military escalation in the region and return to the political and diplomatic track to resolve the outstanding issues in a way that preserves regional security and stability.
