Saudi Arabia condemns in the strongest terms the targeting of the UAE Consulate General in Iraqi Kurdistan
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today, reported by the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, that the Kingdom affirms that the repeated attacks on diplomatic buildings clearly contravene relevant international norms and laws, including the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, and stresses the importance of respecting the sanctity of the buildings of diplomatic missions.
The Ministry expressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with the United Arab Emirates.
