"Abu Dhabi Arabic Language" Participates in the London Book Fair 2026

LONDON, 11 March / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, is participating in the 55th session of the London Book Fair, one of the most prominent annual professional gatherings of the publishing industry in the world, which is held from 10 to 12 March at the Olympia Hall in London.
In its pavilion, the Center displays a group of the most prominent publications of its two projects, “Kalima” for translation, and “Issuances” for Arabic publishing, in addition to electronic and audio books as part of its digital transformation project, via quick response codes that allow visitors to download them, and take them to the “Arab Digital Library” page, which the Center recently launched in cooperation with Amazon, with the aim of providing thousands of electronic and audio books, expanding the reach of Arabic books, and enhancing the presence of Arab culture globally.
The participation program includes holding meetings and dialogues with leaders in the creative and publishing industries around the world, with the aim of strengthening cooperation with international publishers, consolidating existing relationships with British and international publishing houses, and building new partnerships, in addition to signing a number of rights agreements between the “Kalima” translation project and international publishing houses.
The center’s pavilion witnesses a cultural program that includes sessions organized in cooperation with strategic partners, and with the participation of an elite group of intellectuals, translators, and authors to shed light on the Sheikh Zayed Book Award, which is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of its founding, and the “Word to the World” project launched by the center in 2025 to translate major books and Arabic literature into international languages, with the aim of building bridges of cultural dialogue and disseminating the Arab human heritage, in addition to sessions hosted by the pavilion organized by the “Zayed Museum.” The National Museum and the Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum.
The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center is keen to participate annually in the London Book Fair. With the aim of introducing his pioneering role in enhancing the presence of the Arabic language, expanding the scope of its use among speakers and non-native speakers, and introducing his distinctive projects in this field.
