The Saudi Charitable Society for Patients Alzheimer’sThe curtain is on its Ramadan campaign “Bab al-Rifqa”, after its success in providing comprehensive medical and social care to more than 1,800 families in various regions of the Kingdom, with the aim of enhancing their quality of life.
The humanitarian campaign, which was launched at the beginning of the month of Ramadan under the slogan “A bond that extends…and an immortal impact”, came to embody images of social solidarity, and contribute to spreading awareness of the mechanisms of dealing with people with Alzheimer’s disease.
The final statistics revealed the extent of field achievement in the five regions, as the campaign convoys provided 195 medical devices to patients, in addition to providing specialized health supplies for 112 beneficiaries, and dispensing therapeutic medications to 69 others.
Comprehensive support
The support extended to include aspects of living, by paying electricity bills for more than 108 families, paying housing rents for 28 beneficiaries, in addition to providing ration cards and providing nutritional supplements. For dozens of needy cases.
In a humanitarian gesture, the volunteer teams affiliated with the “A Good Step” initiative took the initiative to distribute 50 food baskets, in addition to providing more than 600 various gifts that brought joy to patients and their families in various regions.
The association explained in its report that specialized teams participated in the field in providing health education and social rehabilitation programs, indicating that this step aimed to train families on the best practices to improve the quality of home care. Daily for patients.
