Iran announces the killing of the Revolutionary Guards’ naval commander following an Israeli raid

Iran confirmed on Monday that the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Revolutionary Guard, Ali Reza Tangsiri, had died from severe injuries, days after Israel announced that he had been targeted in an air strike.

A statement published on the Revolutionary Guards’ Sepah News website stated that Tangsiri died as a result of the injuries he sustained as a result of the attack.
