International accreditation for the Master’s program in private law at the UAE University

Al Ain, March 30 / WAM / The Master’s Program in Law at the College of Law at the United Arab Emirates University has received international accreditation from the German Quality Assurance Agency (AQAS), and extends until March 31, 2032.

This accreditation comes as an extension of the college’s path to enhancing the quality of its academic programs, after the Bachelor’s Program in Law obtained accreditation for five years from the French Higher Council for the Evaluation of Scientific Research and Higher Education (HCERES) in 2024, thus enhancing the integration of the international accreditation system in its programs.

Dr. Fatiha Gourari, Dean of the College of Law, explained that this international accreditation represents a qualitative milestone in the college’s journey, and reflects the level of academic maturity reached by the graduate programs, noting that the college works according to a vision based on providing contemporary legal education that is linked to rapid developments in regulations and legislation, and meets the needs of society and the labor market.

In the same context, the college continues to complete the accreditation procedures for the master’s programs in public law and the doctorate in law from the same international body, which strengthens the graduate studies system and opens broader horizons for students and researchers to complete their scientific careers in an internationally recognized academic environment.
