The Head of State receives the Greek Minister of Defense
Abu Dhabi, March 31 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received His Excellency Nikos Dendias, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Greece.
During the meeting, the Minister conveyed to His Highness the greetings of His Excellency Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece, and his wishes for continued security and prosperity for the UAE.
The meeting discussed cooperation and joint work relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, especially in the fields of defense and affairs.
The meeting also touched on developments in the situation in the region in light of the military escalation it is witnessing and its repercussions on regional and global security and stability, in addition to the ongoing Iranian terrorist aggression against the UAE and the countries of the region, which targets civilians and civilian facilities and infrastructure. His Excellency reiterated Greece’s condemnation of this aggression, which constitutes a violation of the sovereignty of states and international law and an undermining of regional stability and security.
