The UAE Ambassador meets the Panamanian Minister of Foreign Relations

Panama City, 31 March / WAM / His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Shamsi, Non-Resident Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Panama, met with His Excellency Javier Martinez Acha, Panamanian Minister of Foreign Relations, at His Excellency’s residence.
During the meeting, the friendly and cooperative relations between the UAE and the Republic of Panama were reviewed, and ways to develop them in various fields were discussed, especially in the investment and economic sectors, in addition to discussing future steps to strengthen the bilateral partnership and build on previous engagements to serve common interests.
The two sides also touched on current developments on the regional and international scene, especially the brutal Iranian terrorist attack that targeted the UAE and a number of brotherly and friendly countries in the region. The Panamanian Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s solidarity with the UAE and considered this attack a threat to regional stability, praising the UAE’s role in strengthening regional peace and security.
For his part, His Excellency Al Shamsi expressed his appreciation for the supportive positions of the Republic of Panama, stressing the UAE’s keenness to continue strengthening its bilateral relations and expanding the horizons of cooperation in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two friendly countries and enhances security and stability in the region.
