Intellectual property rights compliance rate
The report explained that the year 2025 recorded record numbers, as the rate of compliance with intellectual property rights reached 70.01%, and the level of awareness rose. Intellectual property ownership reached 70.7%, while the Authority received 10,300 applications , an increase of 28% compared to last year, and more than 64,200 applications for trademark registration, an increase of 23%, in addition to more than 4,800 applications for optional registration of copyright works, an increase of 87%, and more than 2,600 applications for design registration, an increase of 25%.
In the process of protecting rights, the Authority monitored 11,593 reports of websites, with an average blocking duration of 36 minutes. The number of licensed intellectual property agents also reached 292, an indicator that reflects the development of the regulatory environment and the high efficiency of enforcement. As for the level of training and empowerment, the number of trainees in the Intellectual Property Academy exceeded 100,000 trainees, and more than 5,100 beneficiaries benefited from the intellectual property clinics, while the number of international activities with partner intellectual property offices reached 73 activities in cooperation with 16 offices around the world, in addition to the number of members of the national network of intellectual property support centers reaching 76 governmental and private entities.

At the institutional level, the Authority achieved a percentage of commitment to digital transformation standards. It reached 61.1%, and the maturity of the application of data management practices was 2.07 out of 5.
