"Dubai International Arabian Horse 2026" It launches tomorrow

Dubai, April 2, 2026 – The competitions for the 23rd edition of the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship 2026 will begin tomorrow and continue until April 5 at the Dubai World Trade Center, with the participation of 155 horses from 12 countries.
The Committee for Organizing Purebred Arabian Horse Beauty Events and Championships announced the completion of preparations for the launch of the event, in cooperation with the Dubai World Trade Center, confirming the readiness of the technical and organizational committees, after completing the preparation of the facilities and providing all requirements for the owners, stud managers, and workers in the horse field, in addition to the public.
The championship witnesses wide participation from the most prominent stables and breeders locally and internationally, reflecting its status as one of the most important beauty championships for purebred Arabian horses in the world, while its total financial prizes reach $4 million.
The activities of the first day begin with preliminary rounds for the female category, with the participation of 63 horses distributed over 4 rounds, with some rounds divided into two categories (A) and (B).
The list of referees includes 9 referees from 7 countries, within the framework of applying the highest standards of transparency and impartiality in arbitration, which enhances the reliability of the results and the status of the international tournament.
Qusay Obaidullah, Director General of the Championship, confirmed that the current edition records a significant growth in the number of participants compared to the previous edition, which witnessed the participation of 124 horses from eight countries, indicating that the increase rate amounted to about 25% in the number of horses and 50% in the number of countries.
He explained that the selection of participating horses is done according to a mechanism based on qualification through international tournaments, pointing out that between 40 and 50 participating horses hold the highest international classifications, which reflects the high technical level of the tournament.
