Russia evacuated 198 employees from the Iranian Bushehr nuclear plant

Russian news agencies reported that the Russian state nuclear company Rosatom evacuated an additional 198 employees from the Iranian Bushehr nuclear plant on Saturday.
Rosatom began evacuating its employees from the station since the outbreak of war on Iran at the end of February.
The evacuations that took place today, Saturday, were planned before the International Atomic Energy Agency announced in a post today on the “X” website that a member of the “physical protection” crew at the station was killed by a shell fragment, and that a building at the site was damaged by shock waves and fragments.
Russian news agencies quoted Alexei Likhachev, head of Rosatom, as saying, “Developments near the station are proceeding according to the worst scenarios.”
“The employee who was killed was Iranian,” Likhachev said.
TASS news agency quoted Likhachev as saying, “Rosatom informed Russian President Vladimir Putin of the situation in the vicinity of the station.”
