المملكة: Sunday’s weather: rain, torrents, and hail showers in parts of 10 regions

According to the meteorological statement; The opportunity is still ripe for moderate to heavy rain, leading to torrential rains accompanied by hail showers in parts of the regions of Asir, Jizan, and Najran.

It will be light to moderate in parts of the regions of Al-Sharqiyah, the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, and Al-Baha.

While the effect of active winds stirring dust and dirt continues on parts of those areas, as well as on parts of the regions of Tabuk, Medina and Makkah Al-Mukarramah, especially the coastal ones.

Temperatures also continue to drop in the northern parts of the Kingdom.

Red Sea

• Surface winds: northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 30-55 km/h in the northern and central parts and at a speed of 15-35 km/h in the southern part.
• Wave height: from one and a half to three meters in the northern and central part and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part.
• Sea state: moderate wave. To wavy over the northern and central parts, and light to moderate waves over the southern part.

Arabian Gulf

• Surface winds: northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 16-33 km/h, reaching a speed of 45 km/h, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the northern and central part.
• Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central part, reaching above two meters with the formation of thunderclouds. Rainy.
• Sea state: light to medium waves reaching wavy with the formation of rainy thunderstorms.
