The Head of State and the Syrian President discuss by telephone the relations of the two countries and regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Ahmed Al Shara, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, discussed during a phone call fraternal relations and ways to enhance cooperation and joint work between the two countries in a way that serves their mutual interests and brings good to their peoples.

The Syrian President stressed his pride in the established fraternal relations between the UAE and Syria.

The call also touched on developments in the situation in the region and its dangerous repercussions on its security and stability in light of the continued Iranian terrorist aggression against the UAE and the countries of the region, which targets civilians and civilian facilities and infrastructure and constitutes a violation of the sovereignty of these countries, international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
