Controlling the Khor Fakkan Port accident

The Sharjah Government Media Office confirmed, in a blog post on the “X” platform, that as part of the ongoing follow-up to the incident that was previously reported at the port of Khor Fakkan today, Sunday, April 5, resulting from the fall of shrapnel after a successful interception by air defense systems; The competent authorities confirm that a fire broke out at the site, and the emergency response teams began dealing with it quickly and efficiently. It was brought under control and cooling work is underway.
The office confirmed that the accident resulted in one person of Nepalese nationality being seriously injured and was transferred to the hospital to receive health care, in addition to (3) people of Pakistani nationality being exposed to minor to moderate injuries.
The competent authorities in the Emirate of Sharjah call on the public to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid circulating rumors or unreliable information.
