When the spirit comes… Sharjah wins

Sharjah and national football team player, Hareb Abdullah, confirmed that the fighting spirit shown by Sharjah players was behind the victory the team achieved over Al Wasl, Sunday, 2-1, in the 21st round of the professional league, considering that when the spirit is present on the field, positive results are achieved and the “King” wins.

He pointed out that all Sharjah players were in this match with the heart of one man, stressing at the same time that the eighth position occupied by Sharjah in the league team standings is not befitting of a big club like Sharjah Club, pledging that he and all his fellow players will do their best during the remaining five rounds in the league in order to improve the team’s situation.
Hareb Abdullah told Emirates Al-Youm: “For us as players, we realize that the team is in a situation that does not befit the Sharjah Club, so we are seeking to improve the image, and I hope that what comes next will be better for the team.”
Hareb Abdullah described the three points that Sharjah obtained by defeating Al Wasl as very important for the team, pointing out that they, as players, realize that the team is in a situation that does not befit the Sharjah Club.
Commenting on the great joy of the Sharjah fans over the team’s victory over Al-Wasl after a long absence of victories in the league, Hareb Abdullah said: “The Sharjah fans deserve the joy of victory over Al-Wasl, and we promise them that we will always strive to provide the best and appear at the level that befits the Sharjah Club.”
Regarding his transfer deal in October of last year to play with Sharjah, coming from Shabab Al-Ahly Club, Hareb Abdullah confirmed that his transfer is a new challenge for him as a player.
Regarding his permanent presence in the national team squad in the past period, he explained: “As long as the player wears the logo of the national team that represents the country, he must provide a 100% technical level.”
Hareb Abdullah described the Romanian national team coach, Olario Cosmin, as a great coach who has known the players and the UAE league for a long time, stressing that he wishes the team success in its next journey during the upcoming foreign matches.
Regarding the new faces that joined the team during the last camp held in Abu Dhabi last month, he said: “Although the players who recently joined the team are new faces, I consider them to be in harmony with the team, and there is no difference between them and the old players, because each player complements the other, and I believe that the next one will be better for the team.”
Hareb Abdullah (23 years old) is considered one of the influential young players, whether in the ranks of his former team, Shabab Al-Ahly, or his current team, Al-Sharjah. He is also considered one of the main elements in the national team squad.
