The talks on Iran will be held behind closed doors. Lebanon is not part of the ceasefire agreement

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the talks on the Iranian crisis will be held in closed sessions, and that there is “only one set of important critical points” that America accepts and we will discuss them in closed sessions. He did not provide any other details about the negotiations.

On the other hand, the US President confirmed on Wednesday in a statement to the American “PBS” channel that the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran does not include Israeli military operations in Lebanon.

The US President said, according to a summary of the brief phone call published by journalist Liz Landers, who works for the “PBS” channel on the X platform, that Lebanon “is not included in the agreement,” “because of Hezbollah.”

When asked whether he agreed with Israel continuing its strikes on Lebanon, Trump said that the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah “is a separate clash.”
