As of May 1, Parkin launches a new initiative to refund parking fees in Dubai

Parkin Company announced the launch of the “Parking to Support You” initiative, in a qualitative step aimed at supporting small business owners in the Emirate of Dubai, by enabling shoppers to recover public parking fees when shopping from stores participating in the initiative.

“Parkin” explained that the initiative will be implemented as of May 1, 2026, as shoppers will be able to recover the value of the parking fees they paid, upon reaching a specific minimum amount of spending within the joined stores, which provides a direct incentive to encourage visits and increase demand for these projects, especially in vital areas.

The company revealed, through its digital platforms, the joining of a number of the first partners from small business owners, including restaurants, shops, and various stores, in a step that reflects the interaction of the private sector with the initiative from its early stages, and opens the way for expanding its scope to include a larger segment of commercial activities during the coming period.

Parkin confirmed that parking is no longer just a support service, but has become an influential factor in directing visitors’ movement and determining the destinations that the public goes to, noting that the ease of finding a suitable parking may play a decisive role in the success of many projects.

The company posed a striking question: What if more than 250,000 parking lots in Dubai were converted into open invitations to visit small projects? In reference to the ambition behind the initiative to support small business owners in the Emirate of Dubai.

She explained that the benefit mechanism is simple and direct, as the shopper can park his vehicle near one of the participating stores, then make a purchase that meets the minimum required, and the parking fees will then be refunded, in a more flexible and attractive shopping experience. She also called on the public to explore the participating stores through the signs that will be posted on the doors of the stores and projects while they use their parking lots, thus enhancing the connection between parking services and surrounding commercial activities.

Through this step, Parkin seeks to provide an innovative model to support the retail sector, especially small and medium enterprises, by reducing the financial burdens on shoppers, improving the shopping experience, and creating a more attractive environment for business, which contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of local markets and sustaining their growth.
