The UAE strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the Israeli consulate in Istanbul
Abu Dhabi, 8 April / WAM / The UAE condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted the headquarters of the Consulate of the State of Israel in the city of Istanbul.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the UAE’s categorical rejection of such attacks, stressing the necessity of protecting diplomatic headquarters, missions and their employees in accordance with international laws and norms, especially the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which guarantees complete immunity for diplomatic buildings and their employees.
The Ministry expressed its strong condemnation of these criminal acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism that aim to destabilize security and stability, and are inconsistent with international law.
