Dismantling a terrorist organization that plans to destabilize the security and stability of the state

Abu Dhabi, April 20 / WAM / The State Security Service announced the dismantling of a terrorist organization and the arrest of its members – for their involvement in secret activity aimed at harming national unity and destabilizing stability by planning to carry out systematic terrorist and sabotage acts on the territory of the state. Investigations with members of the organization revealed its connection to the “Guardian of the Jurist” in Iran.
Investigations also showed that members of the organization adopted extremist terrorist ideologies and ideas that threaten internal security, as they carried out recruitment and recruitment operations through secret meetings, according to a plan coordinated with external parties, with the aim of reaching sensitive sites.
According to subsequent monitoring and investigations, members of the organization held secret meetings inside and outside the country with terrorist elements and suspicious organizations, with the aim of conveying misleading ideas to Emirati youth and recruiting them for foreign loyalties to incite against the country’s foreign policy and internal procedures, and attempt to present the country in a negative light, in addition to collecting funds unofficially and transferring them to suspicious foreign parties.
The charges against members of the organization include founding and establishing a secret organization, managing the organization in the state arena, signing foreign pledges of allegiance and allegiances, and harming national unity and societal peace.
The State Security Service stressed that it continues to firmly confront any threats affecting public security, calling on citizens and residents to report any suspicious activity through official channels, in a way that strengthens the security and stability system.
