With huge production.. Turki Al-Sheikh launches a series "Prince" Going global in 2027
His Excellency Counselor Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the start of work on the new Arabic series "Prince"One of the largest Arab dramatic productions, produced by the General Entertainment Authority, will be shown exclusively on MBC platformin 2027, in a step that reflects the growing trend towards providing Arabic content with international production standards, and strengthens the Kingdom’s position as a major center for the entertainment industry in the region.
This work, as His Excellency Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh mentioned, is the first collaboration with international director Stephen Hawkins and the script by writer Salah Al-Juhaini, and with the participation of an international production team specialized in executing action scenes, which reflects a broad international character, and the star participates in the tournament. Egyptian Ahmed Ezz alongside a group of stars from the Arab and international world, including the artist Aser Yassin, the star Hana Al Zahid, and the artist Sami Al Sheikh, without the rest of the names being announced yet.
Events of the series
The events take place "Prince" It is about an Egyptian intelligence officer who lives a double life within a complex network of international conflicts, where he works under a false identity and is asked to carry out precise secret missions in a race against time to thwart an imminent attack.
The threads of the story are intertwined between betrayal, loyalty and sacrifice, and the series presents a mixture of action and political suspense, with a human depth that reflects the challenges facing the heroes in exceptional circumstances. It is considered one of the highest-cost Arab productions, and is implemented according to the highest international standards, and is presented in Arabic with English subtitles, in preparation for its showing. Regionally and globally on the MBC platform.
Multiple locations
The preparation stages have begun over the past weeks in Riyadh and Cairo, with filming to begin during the month of April in multiple locations, including Big Time Studios in Riyadh, one of the most modern production facilities in the region, in addition to external filming locations in Cairo.
