Community Development Authority in Dubai and"Louis Vuitton" They sign a memorandum of understanding to empower national cadres and people of determination

Dubai, April 22 / WAM / The Community Development Authority in Dubai signed a memorandum of understanding with the international brand “Louis Vuitton”, to expand their opportunities in the professional sectors related to retail, fashion and handicrafts, which reflects Dubai’s world-leading position as a model of social and economic empowerment, and embodies the Authority’s pivotal role in building a sustainable and productive society capable of creativity and active participation. The memorandum comes as a strategic step aimed at enhancing the professional empowerment of national competencies and people of determination. It seeks to develop the skills of citizens from eligible groups through specialized training programs that include sewing, repairs, craft work, inventory management, retail and communication skills, in addition to integrating people of determination into the labor market through training programs and employment opportunities supported by supportive tools and creating a work environment in line with their needs. The memorandum also aims to support access to a sustainable business sector that empowers society, build long-term career paths for male and female citizens, and enhance programs Social responsibility and volunteer initiatives aimed at empowering women and people of determination.

Maitha Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Community Empowerment Sector at the Community Development Authority, said: “The memorandum comes within the Authority’s efforts to enhance the economic and social empowerment of citizens and people of determination in Dubai by providing sustainable professional opportunities and practical skills directly linked to the labor market. Our partnership with Louis Vuitton represents an advanced model of cooperation between the public and private sectors to support national cadres and empower them to be active in our society and economy.”

Al Shamsi added: “Through this partnership, we seek to build long-term career paths and provide real opportunities for the talents of citizens and people of determination, in a way that enhances their financial independence and improves their quality of life. Cooperation with international brands also contributes to consolidating Dubai’s position as a center for empowerment and integrated economic opportunities.”
