"Abu Dhabi for Jiu-Jitsu professionals" Announces the launch of the Southern Ecuador Regional Championship, sponsored by "edge"
Abu Dhabi, April 24 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Association of Jiu-Jitsu Professionals (AJP) announced the launch of the 2026 Southern Ecuador Regional Championship for suit and non-suit competitions, which will be held tomorrow in Ecuador, under the sponsorship of the “Edge” Group, in a step that reflects the association’s continued expansion in Latin American markets and the strengthening of its global presence.
The championship competitions are held with open participation for various nationalities and categories, including juniors, youth, amateurs, professionals, and professors, confirming the association’s approach to providing everyone with the opportunity to participate and compete.
The tournament witnesses the participation of hundreds of male and female players representing 9 countries, in addition to 31 academies, which confirms the growing status of jiu-jitsu in the Latin continent, and the pivotal role that Abu Dhabi plays in spreading and developing this sport at the international level.
This sponsorship comes within a broader strategic partnership, as “Edge” will support most of the association’s tournaments in Latin America, in addition to a number of other major tournaments, which contributes to improving the level of organization, enhancing the experience of players and fans, and opening new horizons for emerging talents.
