Abu Dhabi, April 29 / WAM / The Trends Group, through its virtual office in Morocco, is participating in the 31st edition of the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat, whose activities begin tomorrow and continue until next May 10 at the OLM Souissi Space in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

The group offers more than 450 of its most prominent qualitative publications, which vary between scientific series, economic, geopolitical, technological, political and social research and studies.

The group’s participation in the exhibition coincides with the selection of Rabat as the World Book Capital for the year 2026, as its pavilion coincides with this coronation by launching a group of new books, organizing and hosting a number of knowledge events and intellectual meetings with officials of think tanks and research, academic and scientific institutions in North African countries, in addition to discussing cooperation and knowledge partnerships with international publishing houses, which enhances the publishing movement and supports knowledge regionally and internationally.

The new edition of the exhibition, organized by the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, witnesses the participation of more than 891 publishing houses and intellectual and cultural institutions, from more than 61 countries, and the French Republic is the guest of honor at the event. The exhibition also hosts a group of thinkers, researchers, experts and writers from several countries.

The Trends Group stressed that the importance of participating in the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat for the second year in a row lies in disseminating specialized knowledge by making research and scientific content available to the exhibition’s audience, which contributes to bridging the knowledge gap in several fields, especially strategic, technological and economic.

She stated that the aim of the participation is to support the publishing and translation movement, encourage researchers, academics and thinkers to engage in intellectual production and promote translation from international languages, in addition to building bridges of communication and direct interaction with readers and those interested in scientific research in North African countries, as well as exchanging expertise and experiences with publishing houses and research and academic institutions.

For her part, Rawda Al Marzouqi, researcher and director of the Distribution and Exhibitions Department at the Trends Group, said that participation in the Rabat Fair is not limited to presenting the most prominent scientific and research books only, but also extends to creating an interactive cultural environment that stimulates reading, creative thinking, and enlightenment with science, in addition to launching a group of new qualitative publications.
